Darts in Arena Mode

Etihad Stadium will host the Don Smallgoods Invitational Darts Challenge in Arena Mode on Friday, January 10 and Saturday, January 11 2014.

The events will be held on the Etihad Stadium arena and will feature four of darts’ biggest international names including Australian born, Simon ‘The Wizard’ Whitlock, Holland’s, Mighty Michael van Gerwen, Australian, Paul ‘The Asset’ Nicholson and England's, Andy ‘The Hammer’ Hamilton. This will be the first appearance from the players after the World Championships.

5.30pm: Gates 5 open to patrons
7.15pm: Group Matches Commence on Stage
Match 1 : 7th/8th Place Play Off - Jim Seiler v Jumbo Brown (Best of 5 Legs)
Match 2 : 5th/6th Place Play Off - Darren Webster v Paul Nicholson (Best of 7 Legs)
Match 3 : Semi Final 1 - Tic Bridge v Simon Whitlock (Best of 11 Legs)
Match 4 : Semi Final 2 - Andy Hamilton v Michael van Gerwen (Best of 11 Legs)
Match 5 : Grand Final - Win Semi 1 v Win Semi 2 (Best of 17 Legs)
11pm: Event Concludes

Entry Procedures
• VIP – Arena Reserved Seat. Patrons with VIP Meet & Greet tickets can collect a wristband from outside Gate 5 and enter. Please meet at Aisle 43 at 5.30pm on Friday and 6pm on Saturday for the Meet & Greet.
• Bullseye – Arena Reserved Seat
• Outer Bull – Arena Reserved Seat
• Tops – Level 1 GA
• Tops – Level 2 GA Aisles 35-38
• Family Area – Level 2 GA

Please note that all tickets except for ‘Family Area’ tickets are for patrons over the age of 18. Patrons under the age of 18 wishing to attend the event must have a ‘Family Area’ ticket and be accompanied by an adult also with a ‘Family Area’ ticket. Family Area ticket holders can sit on Level 2 between Aisles 34-35.

All patrons with tickets located on the arena or in the 'Family Area' must collect a wristband outside Gate 5 prior to entering the venue.

Ticket Collection:
Pre-purchased tickets can be collected from the Gate 5 ticket windows from 5.00pm on the day of the event.

Bus Transfers
Several buses will be on rotation to transfer patrons from Etihad Stadium to Crown Casino. Buses will depart from the external concourse outside Gate 7 from 10.30pm.

Dining Information
Arena: A BBQ Cart and Bar will be located on either side of the stage
Level 1: Food outlets at Aisle 31 and 42 will be open as well as Bar outlets at Aisle 34 and 41.
Level 2: The Axcess One Bar will be open to the public.

Scan-Out Policy:
Patrons can scan out at Gate 5 and re-enter at those Gates. Patrons must have a valid admission ticket to scan out and re-enter the venue.

Roof Status
The Roof will be closed for this event.

Smoking Policy:
Etihad Stadium is a smoke-free venue. Patrons are not permitted to smoke inside the venue, including on the arena and within the underground car park. Patrons caught smoking within the venue can be ejected and/or fined.
Patrons can scan out at Gate 5 and are permitted to smoke in designated areas of the external concourse.

Alcohol Policy:
Alcohol is not permitted on the external concourse of Etihad Stadium at any time. Alcohol will be sold inside the venue and is permitted on the arena.

Official Merchandise is available at the outlets located on Level 1 inside Gate 5 and on the Arena Floor stage left and right.

ATM Locations:
There will be limited ATM facilities available on the event day. Patrons are encouraged to bring cash to avoid queues and delays. The Etihad Stadium’s ATM is located at LiveWire at Gate 2 external to the venue (next to sliding doors)

Car Parking:
Etihad Stadium’s undercover car park will be open for the Invitational Darts Challenge via Car Park A and E only. An evening parking rate of $15 applies for patrons who enter after 5pm.

Camera Policy:
Professional cameras (cameras which have a detachable lens) and single purpose video or recording devices are strictly prohibited.
