The EJ Whitten Legends game returns to Etihad Stadium on Wednesday 10 July at 7.45pm.
Over 50 recently retired AFL superstars are set to battle it out in the annual State of Origin showdown, the Ray White EJ Whitten Legends Game at Etihad Stadium on Wednesday 10th July, 2013 in memory of Mr Football Teddy Whitten and prostate cancer research.
Last year’s line-up included Kouta (Anthony Koutoufides), The King (Wayne Carey), Matthew Lloyd, Anthony Rocca, Tadhg Kennelly, Mal Michael and man of the match, Brendan Fevola. Fev’s nine goal haul handed the Vics back to back wins in front of a record crowd of 26,221 fans. Can the Vics make it three on the trot with a win this year or will the All Stars exact revenge?
With a few hand-picked sporting identities and celebrities taking it up to the fiercely competitive AFL greats on the field, fantastic pre-game and half time entertainment, and family-friendly pricing; the Ray White EJ Whitten Legends Game is Australia's most thrilling event on the footy fixture.
