A QkR and new reason to cheer at Etihad Stadium

Etihad Stadium has commenced a pilot of an in-seat food and beverage service, which allows patrons at sporting events to order from their seats, setting the scene for an all-new type of fan experience for Australian stadium-goers.
As a result of a collaborative effort between Etihad Stadium, Commonwealth Bank and MasterCard, spectators will have the option to use a smartphone app to buy food and drinks in what is thought to be a world-first service at a sports and entertainment stadium.
The service has initially been piloted amongst 1,000 patrons sitting within the Axcess Premium One membership at Level 2. The proposal is to expand the technology to around 8,500 seats.
